Production Management and Value Realization Plan (PMVRP)

The Production Management and Value Realization Plan (PMVRP) under the HPCDP Project (Phase-II) is an effective tool for increasing the income of farmers and promoting sustainable agribusiness development. The core objective of the PMVRP is to promote the cultivation of high-demand commercial vegetable crops while helping farmers produce marketable surpluses. Emphasizes on exploring the potential for value addition, including processing, packaging and branding, to increase the shelf life and marketing of agricultural produce. The PMVRP integrates modern farming techniques to optimize the use of resources such as land, water and various inputs and also guides farmers to select crops based on market demand. Strengthening market linkages, ensuring that farmers have access to local and external markets, thereby ensuring secure better prices for their produce.
